(Blurb from Goodreads)
Thy Kingdom Come is a suspenseful page-turner. It will keep you on the edge of your seat, right through to the end.
I really liked the characters. Dex is an interesting protagonist with some very real and difficult struggles. I really enjoyed the interactions between Dex, Lela, and Bill. They’ve got a good chemistry going on.
The plot was amazing! Seriously actionpacked, and thoroughly entertaining. Not a dull moment. A few unexpected twists kept me guessing until the end. And oh, that ending. Seriously, Daniel, are you trying to make me die of suspense? All I’m saying is, there had better be a book two! SOON!!!!
I don’t usually like first person perspective, but this one was well done. It was very engaging, and I still managed to submerge myself in it, which is not usually the case for me with first person. But seriously, I felt like I was there. When I was reading it, I would hear a thump, and my first thought was Oh my gosh, it’s a Mindless. I’m going to die, and then I would remember that it’s just a book. I’m in my house, in 2015. Everything’s going to be fine.
Now that’s good writing!
Would I recommend it? Yes! EVERYONE, READ THIS!!!!!!!!
What age would I recommend it for? Age 13+: it deals with some pretty heavy stuff
Would I read the other books in the series? Yes!!!
